Ireland

Ballybunion - This is a place of true pilgrimage for all golfers. With both the Old and Cashen courses to play, you could happily stay from dawn to dusk or until the courses take their toll on your limbs!

Lahinch Golf Club - Of the two courses at Lahinch, the Old course and Castle course, the Old is by far the most famous. It is not as tough as Waterville or Portmarnock, however, it is far from straight forward.

Play at:

Old Head Golf Links - You read the rave reviews and you wonder if it is half as good as they say. This fantastic links is everything that it is made out to be and more. It has to be seen to be believed and will inevitably go to the top of the list of Irish courses.

Waterville Golf Course - Another of Ireland's "hidden gems". This course has lain relatively undiscovered until recent times. It is worthy of inclusion, if you don't mind the drive.
